Summer The hiking area around Veysonnaz extends to the Valais Alps in the south. Revel in the beauty of nature in the 300 km hiking stretch in Veysonnaz. One could come across cows grazing in lush green meadows ' they are harmless and love to be petted. The flora, fauna and dry meadows of Veysonnaz have been preserved, thanks to conservation efforts. Plucking of Silver Thistle flowers or Gentians is frowned upon. The high mountains can be explored and offer guests exotic tours. The 12 km long "Bisse de Vex", for example, is a 15th century irrigation channel and has undergone expensive restoration. The area abounds in irrigation channels with not much difference in altitude, offering pleasant walking routes and wonderful views of the region.
