Revel in the beauty of nature in the 300 km hiking stretch in Veysonnaz. One may come across numerous cows grazing in the lush green meadows; they are harmless and love to be petted. The flora, fauna and dry meadows of Veysonnaz has been well preserved, thanks to conservation efforts. The plucking of Silver Thistle flowers or Gentians is discouraged. Guests can explore the high mountains by taking exotic tours. The 15th century "Bisse de Vex", for example, is a 12 km long irrigation channel and has undergone expensive restoration. The area has many irrigation channels without much difference in altitude, and offers pleasant walking routes and amazing views of the region. Winter Once winter sets in and it starts snowing, Veysonnaz is transformed into a winter sports paradise.
