This self catering 3 bedroom Villa is ideally located in Saligao, close to Calangute and Arpora, North Goa, great for being away from it all whilst being close to beaches, bars and restaurants. The Calangute and Baga beaches are less than 4 kms away.

Laze on the terrace and enjoy the sound of the surrounding wildlife. Spend time in the garden ‘chill out’ area. Experience real Goa village life whilst being only just 10 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of the beach belt. It is only 5 minutes’ drive from Arpora or Calangute.

The villa is large and open downstairs. Downstairs there is an ample living room that sits 5, an office area under the stairs for important work time, a large dining table which sits 6 people comfortably. The kitchen provides, microwave, toaster, kettle, gas hob, fridge/freezer, water filter, washing machine & built in units. There is one bedroom offering 2 single beds, wardrobes, ceiling fan. Next to the bedroom is a good sized shower room with EWC and shower. There is electric powered hot water.
You climb a lovely staircase to get to the first floor. At the top of the stairs is a door leading out to a front terrace. This is tranquil and overlooks the front of the house and the small road leading up to the property. This sits 3-4 people.
There is an indoor chill out room with a single chaise lounge which will sleep 1. Next to that is an ample size shower room again with electric powered hot water and a EWC
Next to that is a TV room with a large flat LCD TV and a Tata Sky connection. There is another bedroom with a small double bed and a ceiling fan. At the end of the corridor there is a master bedroom with large wardrobe space, drawers, ceiling fan and air conditioning.

Grace Villa has a backup inverter which powers lights and fans during power outage times.

In the rear garden there is a lovely quiet ‘chill out’ area

The village has several local shops selling local provisions and alcohol. A supermarket is located close by.

Getting Around

If you should decide to be a part of the happening crowd and events at Calangute, Baga and Anjuna – then it is just a 3.5km drive. The Saturday Night Bazaar, Flea markets are at a distance of 4 km. You have the best of both the worlds- a peaceful quiet stay and the happening places just a stone's throw from your place of stay. Local car and bike hire is available at a very reasonable rate. Taxi drivers are also around and can be called at any time plus Tuk-Tuks. Walk for 10 mins and you can get a local bus to Calangute, Mapusa or Arpora. Parking is inside the compound for a car or two wheelers.

The Neighbourhood

Saligao is friendly, it is laid back and peaceful. Neighbours surround the Villa, it is a true residential area. Everyone will say hello and make you feel welcome. There are some local shops for necessary items such as beer, and beer, and beer, oh yes they sell some soft drinks and butter etc. Local restaurants are there. Many restaurants are there in Arpora which is just 5 mins away via local transport such as a bike or car.
Saligao is in many ways the archetypal Goan village. The history of Goa and the history of Saligao are of course inextricably entwined. But against the larger backdrop, there have been innumerable specific occurrences, incidents and happenings, all contributing towards the making of the distinct entity that is Saligao – similar to the other villages of Goa, yet so different!
There are several markets close by the river at Baga locates Mackie’s Saturday Night Bazaar. There is the famous Wednesday flea market at Anjuna Beach and the Saturday night market at Arpora.(Nov to April only)

We would like guests to treat this property as they would expect guests to treat their home.
Please no smoking inside the property, it is allowed on the terraces only.
All foreign passport holders are required by law to provide C form information, this is now provided by AbraCasa online to Delhi within 24 hours of check in. To ease the check in process we request this online PRIOR to Arrival (some resort request advance notification of all people attending). You are requested to please complete all of the details and upload a photo online (or even a selfie) as we must upload a photo onto the completed C form. This has to be completed for each person over the age of 16. Failure to do so on some sites may result in your booking not being honoured as it would be a breach of rules set by AbraCasa.
