Chalet Wolf is in a quiet spot in the small Walliser village of Fieschertal.Fieschertal was only accesible by foot from out Fiesch in the sixties. The chalet is just above the village centre. Fieschertal is 2 km from Fiesch. The spacious chalet is divided over the ground floor and first floor. It is part of a row of 6 houses. The open fireplace in the living room turns a cold evening into a warm, cosy evening. The Blatz ski-lift in Fieschertal is ideal for children learning to ski. You can take the ski-bus with a ski pass, free of charge, to the Valley Station in Fiesch. The ski-lift will take you to the fabulous Aletsch ski area with its 100 km of ski runs. Aletsch is a superb walking area in summer. Treat yourself to an unforgettable holiday at the Chalet Wolf in Fieschertal.
In winter there is a free sport bus connection to the cable car in Fiesch!

The high-valley Goms belongs to the Wallis area and is an ideal destination for walkers. On 750 km of marked foodpaths you can enjoy the wonderful nature with their beautiful plants. In summer walkers can find everything they want: marked footpaths between the beautiful mountains of Goms for mountain-, glacier-, pass walks, or pleasant walks through the valley. From Fiesch you can go for nice walk routes in the Aletsch area, in the wonderful nature park Binntal and in whole Goms, which are all easy accessible.
Skiing / ski school / Child care
It keeps the opportunity for guests in Fiesch to store their ski equipment (skies, ski sticks, and ski boots) on the Fiescheralp for fee. When you rent skies in a sportsshop you do not have to pay a deposit.

The ski area is called after the heavy Aletsch glacier in the Alps of Switzerland. The Aletsch ski area is located to the south of the 20 km long ice river on a sunny place just above the Rhône valley. As soon as you enter the ski and cross-country ski area through the Furka-Lötschberg or Simplon subway, the landscape is lightened by bright white snow; even in months that the ski runs are still brown and the slopes still green in other places. Thanks to they highly located ski area of Aletsch there is snow untill the late spring. The Aletsch ski area consists of a hundred kilometer of pistes, of which mainly blue and red ones.
The Aletsch ski area, with 36 ski lifts and about 99 km pistes, is a versatile ski area for both beginners and experienced skiers. Those who love wintersport, are guarenteed that they will enjoy the comfort of this big ski area.

Cross-country skiing

Obergoms is located between Niederwald and Oberwald at a height of about 1250 to 1350 meters, with a guarantee of snow. Goms belongs absolutely to one of the most impressive valleys, with an intact nature and intact fields. The cross-country ski season starts already in November and ends in the end of March. About 100 km of cross-country trails in various difficulties guarentee real cross-country ski pleasure! The cross-country route Goms attachs all 12 picturesque villages from Niederwald to Oberwald. It keeps a stop in almost every village for the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn (MGBahn) just as direct access to the route. This is the reason that many cross-country skiers and winder walkers love the Goms route. Fiesch is a perfect starting point.
Mountainbike trips

Various mountainbike trips are possible on natural cycle paths (26 km). There are perfect wood paths for cycling and to admire the beautiful forest area.

In this area there is a variety of paths: paths through the Alps, non-harden paths, mountain paths, and smoothed paths. There are about 300 km cycle paths with signs. Fast descent routes can be reached by train: for the real kick! Goms has all facilities you need for a cylce tour: cycle hotels, cycle shops and guided tours.
Swimming

Schwimmen ist für den Menschen eine beliebte Freizeitbeschäftigung in natürlichen Gewässern wie Meeren, Seen und Flüssen sowie auch speziell dafür gebauten Schwimmbädern und Swimmingpools. Schwimmen im weiten Sinne und in der Alltagssprache umfasst auch das Baden und das Planschen, auch wenn dabei die Bodenhaftung (z. B. am Grund) beibehalten wird.
