Lake Sumter Landing is modeled on old Key West; do take the time to search for the (almost true) "historical facts" signs in Lake Sumter Landing. They are very funny, if not very factual! Both town squares offer outstanding photo opportunities (Look for the especially-commissioned bronze "cracker" (cattleman) and his horse in Brownwood and please do not miss the amazing sunsets on Lake Sumter boardwalk.) You are a short walk to your neighborhood Fishhawk Rec, where you will discover a family friendly swimming pool. The Sandhill, Roosevelt and Bonita Pass Executive golf courses are close by. Golf-cart close Cane Garden and Bonifay Country Clubs, with their Championship courses, pro shops and restaurants are excellent. Take your Temporary ID to your rec for a list of the free weekly activities on offer. You will be amazed! This home is beautifully decorated with an open floor plan. With the Village Temporary Resident ID card you can use any of the 36 executive golf courses with no greens fees. These executive golf courses are not your typical "pitch & putts!" They present some challenging par 3s and the occasional par 4, with three sets of tee boxes to accommodate golfers of different skill levels. You will pay resident rates on greens fees at the 12 Championship courses. You are also entitled to use any of the family friendly and adult only (30 or older) swimming pools, organized activity swimming pools, bocce ball, shuffleboard courts, horseshoe pits, billiards tables, tennis & pickle ball courts, basketball courts, sand volley ball and over 1,000 organized activities every week through the recreational centers.
