Melivaro is a large house of traditional architecture and construction, located in the mountain on the west coast of the island, above the village of Tsoukalades.
Sleeping eight (up to 10), it has two double bedrooms ensuite and two single (becoming double) bedrooms, its own private swimming pool, a pool house, a pergola and a barbecue area with a wood oven.
Beautiful gardens, terraces and an aromatic garden surround the house. Its location offers the most gorgeous Lefkadian sunsets and views from every part of the house that overlooks rural hills to the sea beyond, to the Ionian sea, Paxos, Corfu, and the Amvrachikos gulf. It is a perfect starting point for the island discovery.
The house has a natural airconditioning. The regular breezes in this area of low altitude and the stone construction suffice to keep a cool temperature inside the house.

The house has a unique warmth and simple charm, character and soul. As soon as you enter the front door you feel as relaxed as in a family home!

Ideal for 2-3 families or a group of friends, the house covers all holiday needs: activities with its easy access to sea and mountains sports (best wind, kitesurf and paraglidding spots), 10 to 40 minutes drive to the West coast's most famous beaches (Pefkoulia, Milos, Kathisma, Kalamitsi, Eggremni, Porto Katsiki,...) 10 min drive to town for its colorful narrow streets, museums, churches, theater, dance, concerts, exhibitions, shopping, or wanderings in the villages,... If you only want to rest: you'll enjoy the views from the shadowed terraces surrounding the house and the pool area. The atmosphere and the breathtaking scenery will relax you from the first moment, and the level of comfort will match all your expectations while leaving the smallest possible environmental footprint.
