Town squares are a main focus of activities, with countless restaurants offering varied cuisines from burgers to BBQ, Italian to ice cream!. You will discover unique boutique shops, offering that perfect souvenir  or unusual shopping experiences. The Old Mill Playhouse offers eight screens of the latest films in air-conditioned comfort. The Gazebo, on the central square, is the center of free nightly (5:00 to 9:00) live music and dancing. Do stop to watch the line dancing, and perhaps join in. It's easy and fun! Take time to search for the small signs proclaiming Sumter’s (not very factual, but very funny) “historical “ past. The beautiful boardwalk trail to Lighthouse Point provides an excellent photo opportunity  Recreation Centers are a second center of free activities, interests and classes. Your two nearest “Rec” Centers are Hadley and Odell Village which are both a short golf-cart jaunt away. You will find everything from aerobics to Zumba, swim sports to that Villages' Ball! (Rec centers offer free classes; do try it!). Drop by any recreation center with your Temp ID and ask for their weekly list of free activities. You will be amazed at what is offered! If your interest is golf, you are golf-cart close to the Executive courses of Killimanjaro and Hemmingway and Havana Country Club with its Championship course, pro shop and excellent restaurant. The spacious living room has comfortable seating for seven and a flat-screen TV. The dining area seats six for formal meals, while the kitchen seats four in the breakfast nook and a further four at the breakfast bar. The enclosed lanai also seats six in comfort.The master bedroom has a queen bed, a large walk-in closet, a flat-screen TV and an en-suite bathroom with dual sink vanity units and a large walk-in shower. Bedroom two features a queen bed, and is adjacent to bathroom two, with its tub and shower combination.  The lovely enclosed lanai is perfect for morning coffee or an evening Florida sunset drink.The large garage has room for two cars, plus a dedicated golf cart garage. All of our properties come with High Speed WiFi internet included. Linens, dishes, cutlery and towels are also supplied for your convenience. Each property has either cable TV or satellite TV available for your enjoyment. Bedroom three currently has a futon and can sleep two extra guests if needed. With the Village Resident ID card you can use any of the 36 executive golf courses with no greens fees. These executive golf courses are not your typical "pitch & putts!" They present some challenging par 3s and the occasional par 4, with three sets of tee boxes to accommodate golfers of different skill levels. You pay resident rates on greens fees at the 12 Championship courses. You're also entitled to use any of the family friendly and adult only (30 or older) swimming pools, organized activity swimming pools, bocce ball, shuffleboard courts, horseshoe pits, billiards tables, tennis & pickle ball courts, basketball courts, sand volley ball and over 1,000 organized activities every week through the recreation centers.
