The Space:
Welcome to one of the most sought after addresses in Newtown. My idyllic two-storey terrace home is located just 230m from Newtown Train Station and all of King Street’s 600 cafes, galleries, theatres, boutiques, and petite venues.

Downstairs hosts an open planned indoor-outdoor living space. The brand new kitchen escapes into the living room via a breakfast bar before opening up to the outdoor dining courtyard and raised deck balcony.

Featuring high-end Smeg designer appliances, including a Nescafe milk frother and Breville blender, the kitchen is packed with everything you need for Michelin quality dining. You’ll find chrome-finished bar stools at the breakfast bar, great for both quick meals and long conversations in the kitchen. The kitchen has a dishwasher so you won’t have to spend time doing dishes while on holiday in Australia.

The kitchen flows through to the living room which houses a huge 55 inch Sony television and an even larger black leather chaise lounge. Get comfy amongst the cushions catching up with the latest on-screen or through conversation with your friends around you.

The kitchen also leads into the Andy Warhol Dining Room which comfortably seats eight. Full tableware and glassware is available in the kitchen for private dinner parties (or cans of soup) during your stay.

The standout feature of my home is the spacious private alfresco dining area and deck-balcony. Bordered with a vertical garden of bright geraniums and fragrant Jasmine on one side, the courtyard is an unbelievable quiet oasis located so close to the hustle and bustle of Sydney’s Newtown precinct. This special place is great for peaceful relaxation or more boisterous entertaining with outdoor dining for eight and a gas BBQ available for use. A retractable sun-shade can be pulled over to provide protection from the sun or rain, season dependent.

Downstairs the bathroom includes a shower with heated towel rails and a European style laundry featuring both a washing machine and dryer. An iron and full-size ironing board is provided for your convenience.

Upstairs, the beds have luxurious 5* pillow-top mattresses with extra support for a sound night’s sleep. All bedding has 500 thread count hotel quality linen, with all stays including fresh cotton bath towels for all guests. All bedrooms upstairs have ample wardrobe space for even the heaviest packer.

The master bedroom features a large queen bed and large double-windows that open up to your private garden oasis below. A safe is provided in the wardrobe to store your personal items if you so choose.

The second bedroom opens up to a front-facing balcony and includes a large double bed.

The third bedroom is loft-style and includes a daybed that transforms into a very comfortable king-sized bed. You’ll find a portable cot in the wardrobe of the third bedroom which you’re welcome to use if travelling with young family members.

All bedrooms have individually-controlled reverse cycle air-conditioning and bedside lamps to catch up on some reading before falling asleep.
Additional guests can comfortably stay downstairs on either the comfy chaise leather sofa bed or on a queen air mattress which features a moulded pillow and a built in automatic pump for easy inflation and deflation. Full linen, including queen sized quilts, will be provided for additional guests on request.

The upstairs bathroom is home to a bathtub and an additional shower. You can be sure to stay warm after the shower by grabbing a fresh towel off the heated towel rail - another extra little touch to give you the most luxurious experience. Toiletries, including shampoo and conditioner, are provided complimentarily in both bathrooms. The salon hair dryer is kept under the sink.

Free unlimited wifi is available all throughout the home and the dining table or breakfast bar can be used as a workstation for business travellers.
Street parking for your car is available across the road.

My place is an exquisite house and was built with socializing and groups in mind. The vibe and location will leave you with lifetime memories and I look forward to welcoming you.

The space is perfect for families, groups staying in Sydney for weddings, holidays or reunions. It is not the space to hold events like a ‘Hens’ or ‘Bucks’ weekend.
