The Space
This Penthouse unit with 18-foot ceilings was completely redecorated in December 2017 with luxury finishes throughout. The 2 bedroom / 2 ½ bathroom space has king beds in each bedroom with a queen sleeper sofa in the main room. Egyptian cotton sheets and luxurious towels are provided. The kitchen is very well equipped with imported small appliances. The bedrooms are air conditioned, and the main space has air conditioning that can be included for $20 a day during your stay. The large outdoor terrace is perfect for outdoor dining or relaxing to enjoy the ocean views.

Located in Playa Ventosa condominiums, this secured complex of 18 luxury condos has a large infinity pool for guests, plenty of parking and 24-hour security. The complex is very private, safe, and well managed. All Guests must respect others. No Smoking and No Pets, please.

The Location
Located on Cabarete Beach (also known as Kite Beach), the watersports capital of the Caribbean, this area is known for its year-round trade winds that provide ideal Kite Boarding and Surfing conditions.

Cabarete is also where the best bars, restaurants and cafes are located on the north coast of the Dominican Republic.

Things to Do
The condo is centrally located, and it is walking distance to Janet’s supermarket, pharmacies, banks and most bars and restaurants in town. However, you are located just outside of the main strip to be far enough away so you don’t hear the noise!

A 30-minute walk from the center of Cabarete is the Cabarete Caves, which are located in El Choco National Park. El Choco is an adventure seekers paradise with zip lining, ATV tours, cave tours, horseback riding and more. There are over 75 local excursions to explore, with Iguana Mama being the most popular. Monkey Jungle, located just 20 minutes from the condo, is home to a monkey sanctuary and some of the best zip lining in the Dominican Republic.

Sosua is a short 15-minute drive away, and Puerto Plata (city) is 45 minutes away with even more activities.

Where to Eat
The restaurant scene in Cabarete is amazing! There are restaurants from virtually every cuisine in Cabarete. We will provide a guide to our confirmed guests highlighting some of our favorites in town. Most restaurants do request local currency, but you will be surprised at how affordable 5-star dining can be!

Getting Around
Free parking is provided for guests with cars. A taxi stand is located a short 3-minute walk from the condo complex. The security guard can arrange for a moto-taxi to town with prices starting at 30 pesos (60 cents USD). Uber operates in Puerto Plata, but service is limited.

Safety / Security
While guests of Cabarete Beach usually find the area to be safe, the following protections are provided for our guests:
1. Condominium complex is gated with 24/7 security guards.
2. The names of all guests must be provided to the security guard to gain access to the complex.
3. A safe is provided in unit for guests
4. Security cameras are located throughout the complex
5. A modern medical center is located 10 minutes away with US and Canadian trained doctors
