Welcome to my spacious and comfortable apartment located in Belgian Gardens, Townsville. My property caters four guests, and comes with everything you need to feel at home. With one large living room, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, an open kitchen and parking, you can plan the perfect getaway. Spend downtime by the pool, and whip up a storm thanks to the BBQ facilities. Explore the beautiful beaches of Queensland, and pop into town for some fresh food and your daily fix of well-grounded coffee.
The Space:
This newly furnished apartment combines modern features with practicality, to make you feel at ease. The place is only a 9 minute drive to the CBD, with travelling made easier thanks to nearby bus stops on Bundock Street. Head to CastleTown Shoppingworld which is only a 4 minute drive away, where you will have access to Woolworths and Bakers Delight, as well as department stores if you wish to shop around.

Moving into my peaceful apartment, the large open-space will lure you in, inviting you to lounge on the leather couch that is positioned perfectly in front of a flat screen TV. After an anticipating day exploring Townsville, get ready to treat yourself with some downtime, where you can use Chromecast to satisfy all your entertainment needs.

Make sure you utilise the sleek kitchen to satisfy those cravings you may have over your trip. I’ve provided you with complimentary tea and coffee to get you going. Embrace your inner Masterchef, knowing that you have an oven, microwave, electric stove, and dishwasher, to cater your cooking ways. Avo on toast never looked better! Alternatively, if you’re after a delicious Thai feed, Mariams Thai Restaurant hits the spot.

Take these meals to the dining table that comfortably sits four guests. All dinnerware, glassware and cutlery has been provided and can be found in the kitchen cupboards. The dining table can also be used as a workspace, should you desire to complete any business whilst away. It’s also important to note that unlimited WIFI is available for your use.

After a long day, all you probably want to do is enjoy the comfort of your bed and call it a day. Our two bedrooms, feature a total of one queen bed and two singles, making it easy for you to get some well deserved sleep, and recoup your energy. All beds are covered with hotel quality 750 thread count linen to make your stay extra comfortable. Both bedrooms are spacious, with the main bedroom having an ensuite, and a walk-in wardrobe where you can unpack all of your items.

The property has two generous sized bathrooms. The ensuite in the main bedroom has a toilet and shower, and the other bathroom is fitted with a shower-tub combination and a toilet. You’ll have complimentary toiletries available, including toilet paper, shampoo and conditioner. A hairdryer will also be waiting for your use.

Get all of your washing, drying and ironing done thanks to the included laundry, with the necessary detergent made available for you.

I’m also excited to inform you that there is an onsite pool and BBQ area at the property. Take advantage of the beautiful weather and throw some shrimps on the BBQ for a fun-filled afternoon session.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire home – you are booking the ‘entire place’ which means you can make yourself at home throughout. A set of keys will be provided to the doors, allowing you to come and go as you please throughout your stay, 24 hours a day.
Interaction with Guests:
In most instances I will personally meet guests upon arrival to hand over keys and explain where everything is and how easy it is to get around. For those checking in at unusual hours or while I’m at work, alternative arrangements will be made. During your stay I will be nearby in Townsville and available for contact by email or phone.
The Neighborhood:
You’ll have access to safe on site parking, which will make driving around Townsville a lot easier for you. The area is within close proximity to surrounding areas, being a 4 minute drive away from the local shopping centre, and only a 6 minute drive to The Esplanade, a must-see beach. Alternatively, frequent buses are located directly near you on Bundock Street that can take you where you need to go.
Getting Around:
There’s lots to see in this tranquil and beautiful area of North Queensland. Make sure you take an 8 minute drive to The Strand, a custom-built beachfront consisting of picnic spots, a water park and stylish restaurants. I highly recommend visiting the Castle Hill Lookout, which is a 16 minute drive. Here, you’ll be able to walk tracks that lead up to the hillside, where you’ll be blown away by the stunning views over Townsville and out to the ocean. If you’re seeking to learn more about Australian history, head to the Army Museum North Queensland.
