The Space:
My place is absolutely perfect for people who like their space, and consists of large rooms, open living areas, and an alfresco with a BBQ, to ensure your trip is one of comfort. You’ll be able to have a full-day of exploring, and come home to the warm and friendly hues of my place. You’re a 4-minute drive from the CBD where Rooke Street Mall will impress all you shopaholics, grocery hunters or foodies. For all you explorers, never-fear, because you’re a quick drive to the Bass Strait Maritime Centre and only a 6-minute commute to the Don Jon station, one of Australia’s finest heritage passenger carrying railways. For some of the freshest seafood, head to Strait Off the Boat and enjoy some locally caught fish with a side of chips (of course).

Faced with my wooden door, come on through to my cosy and timbre floored home. The compact living room is equipped with couches, where you can hang around with company and come to a compromise over what television shows to watch. If you’re ever feeling too cold, turn the heater on and close the glass doors that act as both entries and exits to the room, and rug up. If you’re having a movie night in - close the curtains, and turn the light off so you can surround yourself in darkness. Your movie night will be made possible with thanks to the LCD TV fitted with Chromecast.

The useful and extremely spacious kitchen will have everything you need to feed all those hungry people that you’re with. Whether you want to make simplified meals, or show off those fancy cooking skills of yours, the kitchen is fitted with a gas stove, oven, dishwasher and quality sink to get you going. Alternatively, if cooking too many meals is something that’s time consuming and killing your vibe, dine with a view at Drift Cafe Restaurant, and treat yourself to some Tasmanian boutique bear or French champagne. If you head there, you must try the pan seared scallops and chilli, pineapple salsa and grilled chorizo. If you want something quick and easy you could even grab some takeaway from the local Charcoal Chicken shop that’s a 2-minute drive away.

To eat all of your meals, take a seat at the dining table that fits six people. All dinnerware, glasses and cutlery can be located in the cupboards of the kitchen. Have a communal lunch with your company, and set up the table with a feast of dishes. The dining table is also situated right near a fireplace for some added warmth. I also have the perfect outdoor dining area for you to use. Open the glass doors, and you’ll immediately be faced with an outdoor verandah with a 6 seater table and a BBQ. Cook up some prawns on the barbie, and dine in the shade.
Head over to any of the three bedrooms, where you can dive into the pillows and comfort of the beds, and call it a night. There is one queen bed and two double beds which are all covered with hotel quality 750 thread count linen, which will help you snuggle up and get a good rest. There is plenty of storage space for you to store your belongings in the wardrobes of the rooms. Additional guests can sleep on the comfortable sofa in the living room which folds out to become a double sofa bed. Linen is also provided for this option - and you’ll have the heater to keep you warm if you’re cold. You’ll all sleep in style, and wake up feeling refreshed and re-energised.

If you’re here on business and need some space to do your work, there is a workstation for you to utilise! There’s plenty of space to get your laptop out, and pile up those folders of yours. I’ve also got free WIFI all sorted for you - so checking those emails of yours won’t be a hassle at all.

The property has two generous sized bathrooms, perfect for groups and families. The main bathroom features a spa bath with a showerhead and a toilet. The doors to the bathroom open up to the outdoor verandah in the backyard as well, should you feel like enjoying some of the sun whilst having a little spa. The second bathroom, is a little smaller, and just has a toilet with a quality sink for face wash purposes. You’ll have complimentary toiletries available, including toilet paper, shampoo and conditioner. There is also a hair dryer on site, should you require to fix up your hair for the day ahead.

Be sure to utilise the personal laundry space that is nearby the kitchen, which consists of a washing machine and dryer. To make your stay easier, I’ve also provided you with all the necessary detergents you need.
