Large Beachside Family Home in Double Bay

My antique and sunny home located in the beachfront suburb of Double Bay is close to the Sydney CBD, Bondi Junction and stunning views of Sydney’s North Shore from the beach. With close proximity to local stores and restaurants in the premium Double Bay area there’s no better location to spend your Sydney holiday!
The Space:
My shabby chic antique and welcoming home is adorned with cute finishes and a spacious backyard. My sunny and spacious lounge welcomes you with a stunning oversized suede lounge and antique wooden chairs. This lounge area flows onto my dining room with polished wooden floors and a spacious dining table set perfect to fit an intimate family dinner party of four. This area is fully air conditioned perfect for those hot summer days.
My kitchen is spacious and large and comes with many necessities perfect for family dining. It contains a juicer, cutlery and dishware as well as complimentary tea and coffee. There is a dishwasher perfect for easy clean ups. The stainless steel appliances are perfect for whipping up your favourite dinner meals.
My master bedroom contains two spacious double beds, perfect for sleeping four. The mattresses are comfortable and the linen is regularly cleaned so they are fresh and crisp for each stay. This room is incredibly large and also contains a desk perfect for work travellers where you may utilise my unlimited fast wifi. My second bedroom is also generously sized and bright, containing a large double bed with a wardrobe perfect for storing your shopping needs. My third bedroom is the perfect room for the kids with two single beds and a large set of drawers.
My master bathroom has tiled walls and is very clean. It contains a heated towel rail, walk in shower with glass doors and toilet. There is toiletries provided for your convenience as well as fluffy high-quality towels and a hairdryer stored beneath the sink. My bathroom also contains a spacious bath perfect for relaxing after a long day out exploring Sydney.
This well-lit generously sized sun room also fits a single bed to fit an additional guest.
My backyard is large and spacious perfect for playtime for the kids or dining and wining for the adults with an outdoor dining set that can comfortably seat five.
For longer stays, my laundry and dryer and located tucked away in a separate cupboard to ease the stress of your stay.
My place is an exquisite house and was built with socializing and groups in mind. The vibe and location will leave you with lifetime memories and I look forward to welcoming you.
The space is perfect for families, groups staying in Sydney for weddings, holidays or reunions. It is not the space to hold events like a ‘Hens’ or ‘Bucks’ weekend.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire home – you are booking the ‘entire place’ which means you can make yourself at home throughout. A set of keys will be provided to the doors, allowing you to come and go as you please throughout your stay, 24 hours a day.
Interaction with Guests:
In most instances I will personally meet guests upon arrival to hand over keys and explain where everything is and how easy it is to get around. For those checking in at unusual hours or while I’m at work, alternative arrangements will be made. During your stay I will be nearby in Sydney and available for contact by email or phone.
The Neighborhood:
My house is located in the heart of one of Sydney’s most beautiful districts, Double Bay. Local supermarkets, stores and restaurants are in very close proximity. With Woolworths supermarkets a 3 minute walk away, it is very easy to prepare your own family meals. If you want to eat out, restaurants and cafes such as Bibo Wine Bar, Cafe Perons, Cosmopolitan Cafe, The Sheaf and Mrs Sippy are within walking distance. A 10 minute walk will take you to the stunning Double Bay Beach waterside where you can relax in some of Sydney’s clearest waters and whitest sand.
Getting Around:
Getting around the Double Bay area is easily done on foot, however, if you wish to take public transport to the Sydney CBD and beyond this is also extremely convenient. A 30 minute bus from New South Head Rd opposite Knox Street (9 mins walk away). A short 8 minute drive will take you to Bondi Junction containing one of the largest Westfield shopping malls in Sydney. Accessibility is extremely easy via car with parking on site at my home.
