Welcome to a gorgeous 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom grand family home located only 5 minutes walk from the CBD. This 2000 square metre cosy home showcases stunning views of the sea, town and river located in the ideal Devonport suburb. My beautiful home as fireplaces in almost every room and stunning mid-century renovated finishes. Made with entertaining guests in mind, this authentic, Australian lifestyle this freshly-styled home is the place to stay!
The Space:
Upon entering my grand, stunning renovated mid century family home you will be met with stunning finishes such as the solid timber polished floors, high ceilings, stained glass accents and a long hallway. Walking down the hallway will take you to my sophisticated lounge and living area which features an antique fireplace, exquisite chandelier and lounge area. My comfortable module lounge can also double as a sofa bed at night with my flat screen TV for streaming your favourite movies and TV shows.

My lounge area flows into the next room which is the kitchen, dining and outdoor patio area. The large windows let in an abundance of natural light. My newly-renovated kitchen features high-end stainless steel appliances, a generously sized kitchen island with 4 bar stools doubling as extra dining space, and beautiful ceiling fan. The country-style dining table can comfortably seat a family of 6 and the floor-to-ceiling windows look out into the stunning well-maintained rose garden. My verandah and patio nook has an additional 2 chairs for relaxing. I have provided complimentary tea and coffee in the cupboards as well as crockery and dishware perfect for dinner parties. There is a traditional woodburner fireplace and also a study nook which you may utilise with my unlimited fast broadband throughout my home.

The 5 bedrooms located in my home are all very generously sized and equipped with the necessary comfortable, high thread count bed linen. My master bedroom contains plenty of shelving space, a queen bed, antique ceiling fan, stunning chandelier, small flat screen TV, and heater perfect for cooler Tasmanian nights. My other bedrooms contain another queen bed and 3 comfortable double beds, most of which also contain antique oak fireplaces and generous wardrobes or storing spaces.

One of my bathrooms features a clean shower and toilet, quaint sink and mirror as well as laundry and washing machines tucked away perfect for longer stays. My other two bathrooms have plenty of character and are neat and tidy. My master bathroom is generously sized (spanning across 2 rooms), featuring a shower, toilet, sink and large standalone bathtub perfect for relaxing after a long day exploring Tasmania. My third bathroom features a shabby chic style with golden taps. All my bathrooms are equipped with toiletries, including shampoo, conditioner and soap, along with soft cotton towels provided for you to make this place your home for the duration of your stay. A salon hairdryer has also been left under the sink.

This property has a strict no party policy and is not a space to hold events such as ‘Hens’ or ‘Bucks’ weekends. Guests will be screened prior to booking and removed from the property if this rule is violated.

The Neighborhood:
The neighbourhood is one of Tasmania’s best with extremely close proximity to the CBD where you can find Coles and Woolworths supermarkets, Kmart and Target for your necessities, plenty of shopping stores and even a Cmax cinema located nearby. For some family feasts you can explore various cuisines such as the Taj Mahal Indian Restaurant, China Garden Restaurant and Laneway Cafe.
Getting Around:
Although getting around and exploring local CBD options on foot are merely a 5 minute walk away, if you wish to explore Tasmania on foot the safe and secure car parking available down my private driveway in my double garage is readily available. A 10 minute drive will take you to Mersey Bluff Lighthouse. A 6 minute drive down the road will lead you to the Bass Strait Maritime Centre. The infamous Tasmanian Trail as well as a Spirit of Tasmania ferry stop are located 11 minutes away across Mersey River. If you wish to use public transport the bus stop is located a 3 minutes walk away at 46 Hiller Street.
