The villa's lush garden, designed and planted in 1985, offers a picture-perfect Mediterranean experience with flowering hedges, climbing roses, bougainvilleas, and numerous trees including Orange, Lemon, Vanilla, Palm, and Olive trees.

You can enjoy a quiet spot in the shade or poolside while enjoying the views of the Greek countryside, the Ionian sea, and mountains in the distance.
The Space:
Guests will appreciate the convenient, private parking as well as the sun-filled rooms in this family-friendly villa. The well-appointed and spacious living room comes with designer touches such as beautiful antique furnishings, fireplace, and numerous French Doors which open onto covered patios on the main floor.

The views from the veranda on this level are equally breathtaking as you look out onto the neighboring Nature Reserve and the ancient castle of Saint George. Imagine waking up in the mornings and stepping out onto your veranda to enjoy your morning coffee while soaking in the colors and scents of your garden or the distant sea and mountains! There is also a bathroom on this level as well with the comfortable second living space just outside the bedrooms.

You will enjoy the magnificent views of the nearby Nature Reserve, the sea and bay in the distance, and mountaintops on the horizon. Villa Penelope is well-suited for an indoor and outdoor island lifestyle typical of Kefalonia with plenty of outdoor seating, chaise lounges, tables, and, of course, beautiful private pool and hot tub.

★ Living & Dining Room ★ The Living Room's spacious open floor plan includes an antique Victorian dining table with seating for six guests. The dining room is just steps from the pretty living area and fireplace. If you'd rather eat "al fresco" like the locals, just open the French Doors and step onto your outdoor dining table! An additional living area upstairs offers guests a second space for spreading out and relaxing.

★ Kitchen ★ The very spacious kitchen makes meal prep easy for those times you'd like to eat at home. The well-equipped space comes with pretty much everything you would need for cooking while on holiday. You can stock up on supplies at two markets just minutes away from your private paradise.

★ Sleeping Spaces ★ There is a lovely, air-conditioned bedroom on the main floor with two single beds accommodating a total of two guests on this level. The room opens directly onto the covered side patio with garden view. There is ample storage in the built-in wardrobes located in each room. There is a bathroom on this level. There are two additional air-conditioned bedrooms (double bed and two single beds respectively) on the upper floor of the villa.

★ Some Things to Do in and around Argostoli ★

Near Villa Penelope is the village of Argostoli. You can easily explore the town on foot including the many shops and tavernas. You can start at the main shopping street of Lithostroto, which is a pedestrian-only, cobblestoned street. For some history & culture, you can visit the Argostoli Archaeological Museum and the Korgialeneio History and Folk Art Museum.

★ Melissani Lake & Drogarati Cave: The dramatic meeting of sea and land both above and below the ground at the lake offer visitors an exceptionally scenic and unique site just west of Argostoli. The caverns' chambers have stalagmites and stalactites on full display. Both the lake and cave are worth a tour! -- Cephalonia Beaches: The iconic postcard-worthy Greek beaches with their turquoise waters are minutes away from Villa Penelope.

★ Myrtos, with its white pebbles on the bay, is on the northern tip of the island.

★Markis Gialos, one of the most popular beaches on the island, is very close to Argostoli and offers water sports and numerous tavernas.
