The two properties have their own private entrance and are are connected via a garden access. he 11 bedrooms of the estate are distributed in a series of stand-alone pavilions. The 7 bedrooms of Villa Bunga Desa are split up between three stand-alone buildings. The biggest pavilion houses 4 bedrooms. The first level has 2 bedrooms each with its own ensuite open-air bathroom with a small garden. One bedroom boasts a king-size bed with its own private terrace overlooking the lush grounds. The other room offers a king size bed and a single bed. The second level consists of a family suite with a with a double bed and a connecting room with a twin-bedded room (designed to convert to a king). The bathroom here is accessed via the twin bedroom. The suite is air-conditioned and blessed with a sea view. On the second floor of the smaller two-storey pavilion is a family suite furnished with a a spectacular carved king sized bed from Timor and has an open terrace to enjoy the glorious ocean views. Adjoining this is a small study that can be converted into a bedroom with a single bed. The ensuite bathroom can be accessed from the master bedroom or the study. Downstairs, the master suite is characterised by an exterior timber wall panel with Timorese carvings featuring fertility symbols and crocodiles. This suite has a king-size bed, a sitting area and a charming ensuite outdoor bathroom. Set apart from the other units, the single-storey roundhouse in the middle of the garden is entered via a raised covered terrace furnished with chairs and a table. The bedroom has a romantic canopy queen-sized bed, dressing table and a comfortable daybed and an ensuite open-air bathroom. The 4 remaining bedrooms of Little Bungadesa are split up between two stand-alone buildings. On the ground level, just behind the living room, is a spacious air-conditioned bedroom furnished with a queen size bed, flat screen TV and DVD player. Decorative double doors, inlaid with mother of pearl, mark the entrance to a gorgeous garden bathroom, and walk-in rain shower. Going up the stairs from the living room, you’ll find another ensuite bedroom with king size bed and it’s own private terrace to enjoy the breezy ocean views. At the far end of the garden is a single-storey longhouse with wide angle views of the tropical garden and features a family suite. The main bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed plus a daybed that can be converted into a single bed. The adjoining living room is furnished with three sofas, two of which can be converted to single beds or a double bed and is equipped with a flat-screen TV and DVD player. The beautiful large bathroom is accessed via the main bedroom and is fitted with twin basins, a walk-in shower and a bathtub. A veranda running the full length of the building is furnished with cushioned sofa and a rattan table with matching chairs.

Pink and yellow frangipanis overhang the 12 meter and 10 meter swimming pools with plenty of sun loungers resting upon the grass to relax on while enjoying the cooling sea breezes of the nearby ocean. The beautiful spacious gardens, filled with decorative antique pieces from all around the Indonesian archipelago, are a delight for both adults and kids with its rolling lawns and swaying palm trees. The generous villa grounds also provide a perfect venue for any occasion, from weddings, birthdays and much more.

The large open-sided pavilion of Villa Bunga Desa features 2 dining tables that can seat up to 22 people and an L-shaped cushioned sofa for guests to relax while admiring the views of the spacious flower-filled gardens and lawns. Or if you’re after a more intimate setting, then make yourself comfortable in the breezy living and dining room of Little Bunga Desa. Sit back on the swing seats and enjoy an alfresco meal on the round table for eight with semi-circular built-in cushioned seating. The decor for both living areas embraces the spirit of tropical Indonesia with a mix of tribal architecture and antiques. There are also 2 fully equipped kitchens, each with oven, four-burner gas hob and microwave for guests who wish to cook for themselves. Or you can leave the cooking up to the excellent in house cook.
