Shiralee Cottage is an upbeat eclectic holiday house within walking distance of Cairns CBD, the hospital, and the beautiful Cairns Esplanade. Part of a sprawling traditional Queenslander, Shiralee Cottage is like stepping back in time but with the modern comforts of airconditioning and a kitchen - complete with dishwasher.  Whether you are coming to Cairns just to relax, or to explore tropical North Queensland Shiralee Cottage offers a comfortable base.

There are three (3) bedrooms, one (1) bathroom, and a roomy living area with a fully equipped kitchen. At the front of the house there is a private under cover area with comfy furniture to relax and enjoy the tropical Cairns climate. There is a shared laundry with a washing machine and dryer.

Cairns is the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef and Daintree Rainforest. The Reef Fleet Terminal is a busy mecca for tourist boats which depart daily and head out to the many dive and snorkel spots on the reef. Also a must while in Cairns is a visit the iconic Rusty's Market to stock up on local produce and tropical fruits and flowers.
