The Space:
The apartment can comfortably host 6 people. There are 2 queen sofa beds in 2 living rooms, the living rooms can be closed by sliding doors, see the floor diagram in photo section. The apartment is on the first floor, above the ground floor, equivalent to second floor in US.
Guest Access:
Guests will have the entire apartment. Unlike many apartments in Athens, this apartment has larger washing machine and separate dryer, which makes your stay more convenient. Complete kitchen set up, one can make a Christmas meal. High-end designer furniture (no IKEA furniture).

The Neighborhood:
If you prefer safer neighborhood while still being close to city center, Kolonaki is the best option, especially if you have children. Walk to Syntagma Square, Monastiraki, Acropolis. Endless cafés and restaurants within 5 minute's walk. Oikeio and famous Malconi restaurants are just within a block. This section between the Kolonaki Square and General Hospital is considered the more desirable part of of Kolonaki, flat, safer, quieter, closer to restaurants/cafes and embassies. You still see people walk around on the street at 3am in summer time. There are plenty taxi around Kolonaki, you can pretty much find them at any time.
Getting Around:
Happy Family Apartment is also very close to the subway, 10-minute walk to Evangelismo station (Blue Line), direct ride to Athens Airport, no need to transfer. You can also take Tram at Syntama Square to visit the ocean side of Athens, like Piraeus (North) and Glyfada (South) for swimming in the sea.
Other Things to Note:
Elevator in building. There is a commercial parking garage 2 buildings away from the apartment, also some street parking. The apartment is very central to many attraction sites, many are within the walking distance or very short taxi ride. Taxi is very affordable because most rides are very short (within a few Euros). Subway station is close too. Rental car is perhaps only needed for day trip outside Athens.
