Kensington Gardens and Palace/Hyde Park are just minutes away and an easy walk. Kensington Palace was once the home of Princess Diana and now is home to the younger royals. You can walk through Hyde Park and even rent a city bike to explore it or the city.

British Museum & the National Gallery museums are also nearby and are both must-see sites. We suggest going early in the day during peak tourist season for smaller crowds.

The extraordinary Churchill War Rooms are located east of the Marble Arch area but are easily accessible by London's underground (known as the Tube) or bus. If you're a history buff, it is well worth a visit. Be sure to check out the newer museum annex to the war rooms with its high-tech exhibits!

Oxford Street is one of the most famous shopping streets in the world, and it’s a short walk from the flat. Start at Marble Arch itself and head east. Look for boutique and iconic big-box British department stores like Selfridges.
