★ THE VILLLA ★

This family-friendly, attached villa is defined by its spacious, immaculate, and well-appointed rooms which include four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Eight guests will sleep well in this home which will no doubt appeal to the most discerning of world travelers.

A modern kitchen with beautiful cabinetry offers everything you need for meal preparation while on holiday. (Although cooking isn’t necessary with so many restaurants and tavernas nearby.) The villa’s main living area is a spacious combination of living room and dining room allowing guests to enjoy the open space.

The meticulous attention to detail in this home means we have thought of everything so you don’t have to. There is air conditioning, heating, and wireless internet, as well as free parking outside your villa. Washer, dryer, iron and hair dryer are added conveniences for our guests. However, we also provide shampoo, hangers, and several other essentials to get you started on your holiday experience which begins at this villa.

★ THINGS TO DO AROUND GOUVES ★

In actuality, Gouves is a region, rather than a village, although it's often used to refer to the village of Kato Gouves. Gouves (the region) comprises several small villages, including the famous resort area of Kato Gouves. The village of Pano Gouves (in upper Gouves) is built into the side Mt. Ederiat at about 300 meters high and offers phenomenal views. The area of Gouves is sparsely populated and known mostly for its tourism scattered throughout hotels and apartments in its villages.

Various tavernas and restaurants line the Hersonissos National Road which leads to the beach. You won't go hungry here with foods for every budget. You'll also find small supermarkets, car and bike rentals, a medical clinic and pharmacy. Oh, and an ATM.

The Kato Gouves promenade (Possidonos Street) is considered the nices seaside promenade on Crete and well worth a visit.

If an active holiday is more your style, you'll find plenty of water sports rentals nearby including kayaks, waterskiing, pedalo, banana boats, and paragliding.

The ancient ruins of the Minoan Knossos Palace is well worth a visit and is only 25km away.

The Herakleion Archeological Museum is considered the best in the world for Minoan culture. You can find it in the center for the city.

Crete is an ancient land with much to see and do, especially for those interested in ancient history. Byzantine churches, Venetian walls, the birthplace of El Greco, and minarets and mosques dot the countryside.
