The Neighborhood:
This apartment is located in one of Athen's most desirable residential areas: Kolonaki. It is an affluent, upmarket district. It's also one of the city's best shopping districts with plenty of high-end boutiques and shops. It's where the city's wealthiest residents come to shop. Nearby is one of the area's more famous shopping streets, Voukourestiou, popular with jewelry makers.

You'll find several prominent museums and galleries in Kolonaki, including two of the finest private museums in Greece, the Benaki and the Goulandris Museum of Cycladic Art. There is also the Byzantine Museum and War Museum of Athens.

The nightlife alone could keep you busy each night with its plethora of bars, restaurants, and tavernas. Charming outdoor seating along pedestrian-only streets dot the neighborhood. Don't forget to check out the main Kolonaki Square which is bordered by cafes and restaurants!

Kolonaki has the Lycabettus Funicular (probably more fun for children than adults) which links the neighborhood to the Lycabettus Hill summit and two metro stations: Evengelismos and Megaro Mousikis.
