Back to Tradition! In the heart of Plaka!

Under the Acropolis, In the heart of Athens, Plaka is the most traditional and oldest place! Full of tavernas, cafeterias and bars, will allow to visit the historical places on foot! Among them : the Acropolis, the Acropolis Museum, the Adrian's Arch, the Temple of Zeus, the Temple of Apollo, the Kallimarmaro Stadium, the Ancient Agora, the Filopappou Hill, the Zappeion!
The Space:
Plaka is like a small village within the city, a neighborhood in the shadows of the Acropolis. The studio is located one block away from Kidathineon street (the central road of Plaka), Adrian's Arch and Zappion (the National Garden).

All the historical places are within five mins walk distance. For the romantic ones, the "little train" can offer you a tour in the center. You just have to stop it when you meet it!

Around the studio you can find mostly everything (shops, cafeterias, bars, traditional tavernas, pharmacies, hair salons, post office). Athens' public transportation (bus, metro, tram) is reachable within five mins.

The house was built in 1920s and the studio is recently renovated. It is located on the ground floor. The kitchen is equipped with coffeemaker (filter, espresso, cappuccino), fridge, microwave, hotplates, plates, glasses, cups, etc.

In the central room, there is a double bed! The living room has a traditional stone wall, like the old days! There is a table & a corner couch! The one part of it can easily convert into a bed for a person to sleep on! Guest will find a clean room and cleaned sheets and towels at check-in time. Additional room cleaning and change of bed sheets/towels can be arranged after demand for an additional charge.

The bathroom is provided with shampoo, toothpaste, cotton swabs and hairdryer. There is also a washing machine, iron and iron board! Everything you will be needing to wash your clothes! Wifi, air-conditioning and heating are at your disposal.

The Neighborhood:
The house is located not next to Plaka, but in the heart of it! It is the oldest part of Athens! Kidathineon str, Lisiou str, & Tripodon str are among many which exist since the 5th Century BC! Neighbourhood is really quiet and friendly, next to every interesting sightseeing! Metro, bus and taxi stations are a few meters away! Mini-markets, pharmacies, restaurants and cafe-bistrot are one block away! The roads have been paved and there is no traffic in the area!
Getting Around:
Metro Station "Syntagma" (blue line) and metro station "Αcropolis" (red line) are a few blocks away, five minutes on foot. Bus stations and taxi agencies are close by, too!

Concerning parking, it's forbidden in all area, except locals, but there are many parking businesses where with a small fee per day may accommodate your rented car or motorbike!
