Under the Acropolis, Plaka!

Under the Acropolis, in the heart of Athens, Plaka is the most traditional and oldest place! Full of tavernas, cafeterias and bars, will allow to visit the historical places on foot!
The Space:
Plaka is like a small village within the city, a neighborhood in the shadows of the Acropolis. The studio is located a block away from Kidathineon street (the central road of Plaka), the Adrian's Arch and Zappion (the National Garden).

All the historical places are within five mins walk distance. For the romantic ones, the "little train" can offer you a tour in the center. You just have to stop it when you meet it!

Down the corner, there's the "Cine Paris", the best outdoor movie theatre in Athens. All the movies are in english (with greek subs) and they are screened on the roof with a view of the Acropolis.

Around the studio you can find mostly everything (shops, cafeterias, bars, traditional tavernas, pharmacies, hair salons, post office). Athen's public transportation (bus, metro, tram) is reachable within five mins.

The house was built in 1920s and the studio is recently renovated. It is located on the ground floor. The kitchen is equipped with coffeemaker (filter, espresso, cappuccino), fridge, hotplate, plates, glasses, cups, etc.

In the central room, the corner sofa converts to a comfortable double bed for either an adult or two children. There's a real double bed and a closet. Guest will find a clean room and cleaned sheets and towels at check-in time. Additional room cleaning and change of bed sheets/towels on demand can be arranged for an additional charge. The bathroom is provided with shampoo, toothpaste, cotton swabs and hairdryer. Wifi, air-conditioning and heating are at your disposal.

All spaces of our apartment are accessible by guests, nothing is off limits!
Interaction with Guests:
We use (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN), viber, (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) hangouts and messenger! You may find us through our registered phone number! We use to send recommendations ((SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) pins) and useful information through these apps!
The Neighborhood:
Neighbourhood is really quiet and friendly, next to every interesting sightseeing! Metro, bus and taxi stations are a few meters away! Mini-markets, pharmacies, restaurants and cafe-bistrot are one block away! The roads have been paved and there is no traffic in the area!
Getting Around:
Metro stations: Syntagma station (blue line), Syggrou-Fix station (red). These two metro stations are 5 minutes away on foot, from the apartment.

Concerning parking, it's forbidden in all area, except locals, but there are many parking businesses where with a small fee per day may accommodate your rented car or motorbike!
Other Things to Note:
La maison est située non pas à côté de Plaka, mais au cœur de celle-ci! C'est la partie la plus ancienne d'Athènes! Kidathineon str, Lisiou str, & Tripodon str sont parmi les nombreux qui existent depuis le 5ème siècle avant JC!
