The Italian name of this home means \"caretaker's home\"; it's situated on a strategic position on the estate, overlooking the piazza.

The home is located on the first floor, you can lounge on the gras directly in front of the home. On the large piazza you have a private table and chairs. You'll breath in the authentic Tuscan atmosphere when you enter the kitchen, that typical large open fire place, the old wood beamed ceiling supporting the roof and the original terracotta tiled floor all take you back in time.
For a refreshing dip your estate has a large swimming pool that you share with the other guests, you can enjoy some regional dishes in the restaurant located on the estate. There are also lots of meadows, a separate football pitch and spacious fields that are perfect for walking.

The estate is located close by the village of Sinalunga where you will find all sorts of shops as well as a large supermarket. You can also play tennis in Sinalunga.
The village is only 40 minutes away from Siena, Arezzo, Pienza and Montepulciano. Florence and the Umbrian towns of Perugia and Assisi are all easily reached by highway. La Fratta sits on a plain, the surrounding hills offer the thrill of some great drives.

Environment/surroundings :
The house is located on a farm estate. You can visit the Chianina cows known for the good meat. In the yard, you can see the sixteenth-century mansion built by Peruzzi, renaissance buildings and the private chapel frescoed by Antonio Bazzi.
The estate features 12 houses. You can also visit the old school, the theater and the home of the last farmer who lived there. On the property are two restaurants with typical Tuscan cuisine. Meat, vegetables, wine and salami are of own production. There is also a shop where you can buy these products. Near the pool is a small bar with sandwiches, snacks and Italian aperitifs.
