Environment/surroundings :
High up in the hills you'll find this detached holiday home, right outside the little village of Gamaches (1 km). With the house you have a lovely terrace and a fenced garden at your disposal. Both look out over the Bresle valley. where the river Bresle runs, rich with salmon and trout. We recommend anglers bring their equipment. Bike hire, supermarket and a baker can all be found in Gamaches. Lovers of horse riding have the possibility to stable their own horse on the property.

'Your' house is very centrally located. The beach, with its white chalk cliffs can be found just 15 mins drive away, near the lovely bathing spot Mers-les-Bains (15km). Closer to home, in Gamaches, you can surf, kayak and canoe on the 55 ha recreational lake. The surroundings are also ideal for cyclists. There is a cycle route through the valley between Inchville (6 km) and the woods near Eu (13.5 km).

Eu has lots to offer. Such as a visit to the castle where Joan of Arc was once held prisoner and that, in the 18th Century, served as the summer residence of King Louis-Phillippe. One other suggestion is the glass lift in Le Tréport (17km). This brings you straight to the top of the highest chalk cliffs in Europe. If you're scared of heights, this is not advised! There is an 18-hole golf course in Grand-Laviers (30km).
