Two storey apartment with the surface of 80m2 is a part of a hundred-year-old house located only 10 minutes walking distance from the centre of the city Rijeka. House has a view on one of the most attractive tourist destination, old town of Trsat, where you can find the Shrine of our lady of Trsat with the Trsat Franciscan Monastery and the Trsat Castle. During the fourth century Trsat Castle was an important Roman stronghold called Trsatica from where Romans controlled and defended „Roman limes “– the wall that marked bulwark of Christianity and Roman empire. The same wall passed underneath this very house.
The house was rebuilt recently in a traditional stile in order to relive the old times and to make our lives better. In that end, we have wonderful gardens and orchards that are full of 100% organic and non-treated fruits and vegetables .
The owner of this house(Me) is a painter and blues musician, so part of the house is decorated with old traditional blues instruments and cigar box guitars made by me and invented during the big depression. All of the above is possible to try, feel or even learn how to play.
We are a big animal lovers and owners of two dogs and two big parrots so any animal is more than welcome. We are looking forward to meet people who appreciate the art, music or someone who just enjoys nice things and surrounding.
House is located on the edge og green belt, surrounded with vegetable gardens and orchard. On the other side there are few skyscrapers, the attribute to modern way of life.
