Gorgeous Georgian Apartment in Shoreditch

Welcome to this gorgeous 1 bed, 1 bath Georgian apartment which is full of light and sleeps 2 people. This apartment offers a great location in Shoreditch, being just a 9 minute walk from Old Street tube station and a 3 minute walk from Hoxton Squre, for easy access to lots of tourist attractions and many corporate offices quickly on foot. The famous area of Shoreditch has lots of trendy bars and restaurants making this a great place to stay!

The apartment is your own. Cleaned professionally with fresh luxury linens, it's prepared for each new visitor.
Interaction with Guests:
The house will be yours for the duration of your stay but we're always available at the end of the phone - nothing is too much trouble!
The Neighborhood:
Old Street is the heart of new and old tech and web based start up businesses which have prospered. In this area you will find lots of impressive looking high rise offices, little supermarkets, pubs, bars and cafes. You will no doubt love the fact you are two stops from Kings Cross St Pancras station (great if you are getting the train to London). My place is just a three minute walk from the station so it's perfect for business commuters and tourists alike as you can get to most places in London very quickly.

Apart from Old Street itself, there are also so many other amazing neighbourhoods to visit which are right on your doorstep here - you are going to be spoilt for choice! Firstly, take a visit to nearby Angel. This area is one of the most charming districts in London. The main high street is called Upper Street and here you can find many acclaimed restaurants such as Wahaca and Ottolenghi, and cool bars such as The Bar With No Name. There are plenty of Britain's favourite chain stores and supermarkets here which are very convenient, but there are also cute independent shops and boutiques too further down Upper Street.

If you want to explore past Angel, then you are conveniently located near to Shoreditch and the City (which are all to the south east of Angel). Shoreditch is a really cool and trendy area which is full of pop-up bars, clubs and restaurants. There is also the famous BoxPark here which is a little shopping area made from old shipping containers.

If you fancy escaping the hustle and bustle of London city life, then why not take the Overground line and go to nearby Hampstead Heath. This is a beautiful and serene park which makes a lovely family day out. In Hampstead Heath you can find a zoo, an athletics track, an education centre, extensive children's facilities, three swimming ponds and a Lido. The surrounding area of Hampstead is also filled with cute little shops for you to wander around.
Getting Around:
The flat is ideally located only 9 minutes walk from Old street tube station (black Northern line) and from Hoxton station (Overground orange line).
Liverpool Street station, with trains direct to Stansted airport, can be reached by walk in 15 minutes or by bus 135 (sometimes it takes longer by bus!!)

In Old street you will find bus 55 taking you to Oxford street in less than 30 minutes. Many more buses can be found in the streets around Old street roundabout, like the 205 and the 214 taking you to Angel.

City Mapper is a really useful app you can download that will help you navigating London!

Walking is however the best way to get to know this city, and understanding how to move around it. Some of the best markets (flower market, spitafield market and brick lane market) are only 15 minutes walk from the house.
In 40 minutes you will be by St. Paul cathedral, the new Tate gallery and the south bank - and from here Westminster is another 20 minutes stroll along the Thames' banks - Beautiful!

You will be surprised how you can walk everywhere from here, and truly get to understand this city!
