Originally established as an organic farm with its own agriprocessing facilities 58 years ago by the Kizhakkekara family, it is still every bit that except for the fact, its doors are now open to the nature lovers. There is plenty to do for those seeking adventure and activity, starting with trekking through the many acres of plantations growing among other things crops like coconut, arecanut, cocoa, coffee and pepper. Those seeking the thrill of exploring dark eerie places can continue into the virgin tropical forests at the edge of the plantations and blaze their own trail. Throughout their trek the hikers will be treated to beautiful vistas of the entire valley that open up through breaks in the foliage.
At the farm get a glimpse of how cocoa beans are processed or try your hand at plucking them. Lend a hand in gathering the coffee beans from the plantation or bring out a little of your apish side and clamber up a mango tree.
