You can see Nature, admire her true beauty and spend day after day in this paradise on earth. “Manali” is named after a Hindu sage “Manu”. Mythology states that sage Manu recreated life in this place after the great deluge submerged the world. It is also referred to as the “Valley of Gods”. Manali has been the favourite destination for young couples on their honeymoon. In fact, in 2008 and 2009, Manali was visited by more couples on their honeymoon than any other love-spot in India! It is the beginning of an ancient trade route to Ladakh and from there over the Karakoram Pass on to Yarkand and Khotan in the Tarim Basin.
